Review: ClixSense
Overall: Thumbs Down
ClixSense is a Paid To Read (PTR) site - they pay you to read e-mails, or in this case view websites. The pay for each one I completed was $0.01, which is typical for such sites. Viewing the ads is pretty simple but you don’t get e-mails in your inbox… you have to log into your account and get into the view ads section and then click a link to each add you want to view. The ad stays up for 30 seconds then you are credited and you can close it. Unless of course you see something interesting and want to explore it - which, after all is the point of these things from the advertiser’s perspective.
The first day I signed up there were 14 ads I could view, and I did. Within the next week there were a total of 3 new ones added. At $0.17 per week, it will be over a year before I reach the $10 required to cashout. Maybe it has something to do with my profile and interests, but I’m a fairly average guy.
Now, they claim that there are over 500 e-mails available to premium members. A premium account will cost you $10.00 Doing the math - that doesn’t look like a winner to me. If you did all 500 e-mails and they all paid .02 (not sure if they do) that would earn you $10.00… the amount you spent to get access to them.
Feel free to check it out yourself, but I’m not impressed. [.. here’s the link ..]
