Operation Bob

I just spent a little time on Yuwie again, optimistically hoping for good things but realistically knowing better.  I think the site is actually getting worse!  I got a popup on almost every single page I visited and between every about 3-5 pages there was one of those detour ads… the kind where you have to click ’skip this’ or ‘continue’ to get where you intended to go.  That combined with the ton of text and banner ads makes the whole thing a real drag.  Argh.  They say you aren’t allowed to advertise on there and I don’t know if that includes a link to your own blog, but we’re about to find out because I put the link up just for fun.  Despite the promise to pay pennies a month for “doing what you do” on Yuwie, I think I get more to the gallon with other non-paying social networking sites like MySpace.
