Tis The Season…. Already!
I’m not sure why this still surprises me, it happens every year. One minute it’s spring and with the blink of an eye it’s cold and dark outside and those so-many shopping days left signs start popping up in the stores.
I suppose I tend to ignore the first few hundred signs since the commercials and such seem to begin while I’m still sweating in front of the air conditioner or a little later, in mid october, when I can’t find halloween stuff in the mega-center because it’s already been cleared out to make room for Christmas goodies.
Not that I’m complaining about Christmas, it’s a great time of year and a wonderful holiday. It just seems like all the holidays and occassions seem to sneak up on me nowadays.
