Sesame Street – Not For Kids?
I saw a report on the news about the early seasons of Sesame Street coming out on DVD. According to the report, the videos contain a warning that they are intended for adults and not suitable for children. What? The news report went on to detail the possible bad influences on children like; Oscar the grouch suffering from untreated depression, the Cookie Monster being on the fast track to diabetes, and the poor living conditions of Bert and Ernie’s basement apartment. I haven’t seen the label myself, this is just what I saw on the segment.
