Early Review: Blogsvertise
I just applied at Blogsvertise, a paid to blog site. In fact, this post is part of my application… just so everything is up front and disclosed! According to the site, payout ranges from $4 to $25 per post, typically between $5-$15. Not bad for 75 words, especially compared to some of the low payouts for other online writing opportunities. Â
Blogvertise assignments are sent via e-mail once the blog is approved. The blogger has 5 days to complete the assignment and payment is made by PayPal 30 days after the post is complete and approved.Â
As always, I did my homework and scoured all the reveiws I could find on Blogvertise.  There were only a few notes of interest.  For instance, one blogger takes issue with the requirement to have 3 links in each post, noting that this is more than most paid to blog sites require. Another blogger rightfully points out that this is indeed a good thing for the advertiser, and that’s who is paying for the post. Â
Another issue raised was a relatively low payout. I do a decent amount of online writing and the fee Blogsverstise offers isn’t all that low.  Finally, some folks don’t appreciate that you have to wait 30 days to get paid for your post. I agree on that one, but many other companies work this way so it isn’t out of the norm.  The way I figure it, I’ll enjoy the money a month from now as much as I did today, so what’s the big deal.Â
Other than those items, which by the way are all plainly stated on the Blogsvertise site, I couldn’t find any other complaints about them. The fact that none of the complaints were about surprises, unethical business practices, and so on is very encouraging. Those are the signs of trouble.
It’s far to early to give a full review from personal experience, but I will surely keep you posted as things go along. Feel free to check out Blogsvertise on your own too.
