The Scoop on Paid Surveys
I can’t stress this enough, DO NOT pay for online survey opportunities. Those memberships will get you nothing more than a list of survey sites that are freely available on the internet.
That being said, the search for online paid surveys is very popular. I have worked with many of the survey companies and haven’t gotten anything more than frustration.
First, you usually complete a very lengthy profile which includes everything anyone could ever want to know about you. Then, when survey arrives you start out with what must be a pre-survey that asks all the same info that’s already in your profile. In my experience, 9 times out of 10 after the pre-survey I get a message that I don’t qualify for the survey or it’s full, but I’ll be entered in the sweepstakes — after spending 10-20 minutes on it!
So, For every time I completed a 30 minute survey and made $3 I’ve spent about 3 hours completing pre-surveys and getting rejected. None of the survey companies have even sent me as much as one real paid survey a day. Yes, they send surveys but most of them seem like filler and only offer points or a sweeps entry.
As with any opportunity, you decide if it’s worthwhile and a good fit for you. Your experience may be entirely different, and I have seen reviews from several folks who’ve pulled in some cash doing surveys.
For your convenience, here’s a list of paid survey sites that you can join for free.

HiEvery other blog I have read about Paid Surveys, has been lacking in information. Your insight into Paid Surveys is sooooo much better than anything else I have read. Thanks Amanda.
