Review- Moola

Moola is a site where you can get paid to play games, get paid to shop, and get paid for a few other things. Moola is still in Beta and membership is available by invitation only. I have some invites left and I’m happy to share them with my loyal readers, so if you’re interested click here to sign up.

Moola

Signup is free on Moola, and fairly short. Once you join they give you a penny in your account. The main focus is on the game and here’s how it works: you play another player a simple flash game and if you win you double your penny and now have $0.02 – do that 30 times and you’ll have $10 Million. (Yeah, I’m not holding my breath either)In order to get more than the one-time payout of $10, you’ll have to verify your account, which they do by sending a text message to your cell. They say this is to make sure each individual only has one account.

The games are cool, and addictive! Before a game you have to wait through a commercial – but they are mostly those already seen on TV and not too annoying.

You can search using Moola (which is just a branded Google search) from their site or you can install the Moola toolbar. Searching gives you the chance to win some cash too, for each search you do. (I’ve never won anything – so I’m not counting on it.)

Occasionally, you get a little spin the wheel deal and whatever it lands on you get in your account. They pay by check or PayPal, although it appears the first payout must be by check. Minimum payout is $10.

My research found a number of skeptics, but I couldn’t locate any bad reviews from folks who had actually participated. Not saying they aren’t out there, I just didn’t find any. I did find plenty of folks who have been playing and enjoying the experience.

I’ll be the first to say that I doubt you’re going to get rich, i.e., make it to the $10 mil prize. But, if you enjoy playing games online here’s a chance to make a couple pennies or dollars (they all add up) while you’re doing it.

They say the invitations are limited, but I’ve also heard that they add more invites to the pool as needed. So, I’m not trying to give you an “act now” pitch, just telling you what they said so you’re not coming after me if all my invites get used up.

If any of you have experience with Moola, please comment and share your story.
