AdverCash Review
AdverCash is a PTR site where you’re paid to read (or view) advertisements. Unfortunately, there aren’t many ads available to view. As of this writing there are 6 ads worth 1/2 a penny, 1 for a penny, and one for a penny and a half. I was a little surprised at that because the way I read the front page, all ads were worth $0.01. Either way, the few ads that are available when clicked on display inside a frame, which makes viewing difficult and annoying for larger sized pages.
The only one penny ad is an advert to upgrade your membership with AdverCash to a green membership at $30/yr (or choose a monthly or lifetime option) which is supposed to get you more ads to view. They also suggest that the more you view, the more ads will be available to you, but I can’t confirm or deny that.
They also have some GPT offers, 20 to be exact and most of those can easily be found and completed on other GPT sites with a lot more variety. However, AdverCash clearly says that the site is somewhat new. So, given some time they may be able to increase the number of offers and opportunities.
There are two other sections that I’m not sure I understand. Digg Ads, which says it is closed due to abuse and Reg Ads which lists a lot of links with payouts in the .01 - .05 range, but it says that will be going away soon. Actually it says they will be removed on 12/31/07, but they’re still displayed now. I didn’t explore these areas much since they are or will be defunct.
The minimum cashout is $12.50 and you can receive payment by PayPal or check. It looks like there’s a $1 fee for the check option, but with the low minimum payout that’s reasonable. They say PayPal payments are made within 3 days of request and Checks are sent on the 15th and 30th, and there doesn’t appear to be any lag-time.
The only buzz I could find about AdverCash was generally positive. Overall, it appears the site is legit and I like their lower cashout threshold and quick payment. The low number of offers and ads make it less interesting to me than some of the competition.
If this site had been around awhile, I would give them a not recommended. But, since they are still fairly new and have some things going for them, I’m leaving it at a neutral for now. With a few quirks worked out and some more opportunities, they could easily be a highly recommended site. Feel free to check them out at AdverCash.
