A No Contest Contest

I love EntreCard. I’ve found some great blogs, met some great people, and gotten some great traffic through the site. So I’m sitting here thinking about what to do with my EntreCredits - not that I have a lot or anything, but they do keep adding up and most of the times the sites I like to advertise on are fully booked.

Meanwhile (in another area of my brain) I’m thinking about doing some kind of contest or something and then I merge the two ideas and think about doing an EC giveaway contest, but lots of people do that so it doesn’t sound very exciting.

Then, the hampster inside my head must have fallen off his wheel or something because I sorta forgot about the whole contest thing and got off on the EC thought. I decided that I’d just go to some blogs and give them a handful of credits. Not a ton, just a few so I could share the love with others too. I gave to blogs that I liked and I tried to include some of the newer or less-exposed ones too. It was fun!!!

So, if you found a credit of EC’s from me, there’s no catch and I don’t want anything in return - consider yourself an instant winner in the no-contest contest!

  1. I agree, this Entrecard thing is sooo cool! I don’t really where it fits, viral marketing, social media, whatever .. it’s a fun way and great way to discover new blogs!

Kuddos to your blog and being a parent!

  2. Out of nowhere, I got 20 EC from you. Thanks.

Your give away note was just a “Just because …”, I think it’s incomplete sentence or on purpose. Now, I understand why I got the credit and why you donated it away.

Maybe I suggest that you include your URL in your give away note next time, that would plenty of traffic to your site.

    Once again, thank you.

    Have a productive day.

  3. Here’s your answer, sell you extra credits at EntreCash.com You may not get rich but why not have a couple extra bucks dropped into your paypal account?
