Sick as a dog
My sincerest apologies for the lack of posts lately. I’ve been in bed, sick, and unable to muster the energy to even crawl to the keyboard much less write anything coherent. I’m still not sure I can accomplish the latter so please forgive me if this makes no sense. Meanwhile, I wonder where the phrase ‘Sick as a dog’ came from? For the most part, dogs aren’t sick.
Well, if my body had a low-battery indicator it would be blinking ‘go back to bed’ so I’m going to oblige and try to sleep this thing off. Hopefully I’ll be up and about again soon.
