Operation Bob

Finally awake at a normal hour, working away and making some progress, it all came to a halt when the lights went out.  So there I sat with no TV (how tragic!), no computer, no lights, nothing.  My office is in the basement, so it was a whole new kind of dark at my desk.  The laptop only had about 30 minutes of battery left, which really didn’t matter because with no power to the router the internet connection was out as well.  So much for making lunch on the electric stove.  What in the world did people do before electricity!  Well, they probably got a lot more fresh air, enjoyed some peace and quiet, and so on.  Since the baby was sleeping I didn’t want to drag him out of bed to go out anywhere, so I was kinda stuck.  I don’t know about everyone else, but I learned that I am very dependent on electricity!  The good news I suppose is that the power is back on and life is back to normal.
