Blog To Profit (Early Review)
At some point I must have signed up and submitted my blog to BlogToProfit.com, a paid to post site, although I don’t remember it. A few days ago I got an e-mail that I had been approved and had some jobs waiting. My experience with them is very limited, being very new, therefore I’m calling this an early review. I just wanted to share the details I have at this point. Apparently they assign you a group of jobs and give you 5 days to finish them. I had 5 jobs in the queue and found one right off that fit my topic. A few others I’ll probably pass on because they just aren’t things I’m into.
Anyway, the requirement for posts is 150 words which is very doable. It only has to include one link with the anchor text, and the anchor text is relevant, unlike some places I’ve seen that use some pretty sneaky link text. They pay weekly (gotta love that.) Posts that are approved by Friday are paid the following Thursday. They do offer payment by PayPal, which I prefer greatly over a snail-mail check.
They pay $10 for referrals once the referral makes some posts. There isn’t a referral or affiliate link however. Your referral must enter your e-mail address when they sign up.
There are still some things I haven’t figured out. For instance, will I be penalized for not doing all the jobs that were assigned to me? I’ll keep you posted when I learn more. A quick google search didn’t reveal much in the way of buzz about this site, neither negative nor positive. If anyone else has experience with BlogToProfit.com, please share by commenting here. I’ve worked with BlogToProfit. You won’t get keywords that fit your site, you will get pure SEO. And yes, you have to do all five assignments or you won’t hear from them again. Considering it’s only $25.00, I haven’t asked for more assignments since my last batch. But you might have better luck.
Elizabeth, thanks for the info. Having to do the whole batch will be a deal breaker for me, since 4 out of 5 were plastic surgery and bars which aren’t exactly my forte.
Thanks for doing the review Bob. I was about to sign up for them, but after hearing about your experience and Elizabeth’s, I think I will have to pass. I am very selective of what I blog about.
