Operation Bob

You might have noticed that lately I’ve been trying to include a picture or image of some sort in every post. OK, so I haven’t gotten one in EVERY post, but I’ve been trying. I’ve been meaning to add pics for a long time and just finally got myself disciplined enough to take the extra minute to actually do it before I hit the publish button. The idea comes from bloggernoob. I enjoy his blog and I noticed that I would start looking at posts, and end up reading them, even if the title didn’t catch my fancy. He has a pretty good habit of including images that are at least loosely relevant in most of his posts and I must admit, it helps the overall aesthetics of the site and draws interest to the individual post.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, I don’t have the attention span to read a thousand word post unless it’s something really, really good. But a pic seems to real me in and get my eyes going on the text. I figure I’m probably not the only one and my readers may enjoy a little eye candy along with all my rambling.
