Tools of the Trade: E-Mail

I have e-mail addresses assigned for most of my domains come and go. I might sell any one of those domains tomorrow, so I always keep one main “general” e-mail account. About 6 months ago, I made that account Google’s gmail. It is heads above hotmail and yahoo mail, with a lot less overhead and a lot less intrusive advertising. For some reason it even seems to get less spam? Anyway, if you don’t have a gmail account yet, i suggest you check it out.

While gmail is my ‘main’ mail now, I also have a lot of other addresses that I read through Thunderbird, a desktop e-mail application from Mozilla. It’s a lot like Outlook, only way better. It seems to run faster and I find it easier to use, and of course it’s free.
