Operation Bob

Election years always seem to bring out more pet peeves in me.  Probably because the annoyances and reminders are everywhere.  For instance, all those signs poking up everywhere ‘vote for this guy’ or whatever create a sea of plastic and print.  How hideous.  It’s not even like you can read 2″ print at 60mph anyway, it’s all just a blur of primary colors blocking the landscape.

Another thing that gets me is the folks who are already in elected positions running for a higher office.  While they are out complaining for a year or two, who’s doing the job they were already elected to do?  For instance, the three senators that are running for president… Why should they represent the country when they are skipping out on their job to represent their state in order to seek a higher office.
